A Statewide Program helping Employ Our Community in Careers ARIZONA@WORK City of Phoenix is a part of a state-wide workforce development network known as ARIZONA@WORK. Through the support of federal funding ARIZONA@WORK City of Phoenix is integrated in our local communities to meet the employment needs of all job seekers and employers of all sizes and industries recruit, develop, and retain the best employees for their needs.

The ARIZONA@WORK network is a public and private partnership with 12 regional areas and 47 local offices, all working together and sharing one mission: "providing innovative workforce solutions to employers and job seekers." ARIZONA@WORK City of Phoenix has three American Job Centers and six Affiliate Sites where workforce services are provided at no charge to help job seekers throughout the city pursue employment opportunities. By developing the city's workforce and matching employers with job seekers, we strengthen Arizona's economy.

Phoenix Youth RISE Program

The Phoenix Youth Reach and Investment in Summer Employment (RISE) Program provides short-term job opportunities for residents ages 16 to 24 by connecting their interests with local employers.

Participate as an Employer

By participating in the Phoenix Youth RISE Program, local employers (across​ the Phoenix Metro) ​at no cost to their business can make a difference by mentoring a youth or young adult ages 16 to 24. The employer will serve as a mentor and help the participant develop the skills to succeed in a career in that given industry. This relationship can potentially nurture a future top-tier employee for their business. Participating employers offer participants a minimum of 20 hours per week (4 weeks during the summer, 80 hours total).

Phoenix residents ages 16 to 24 get connected with local employers and gain valuable insight into future career opportunities. ​These opportunities offer a pathway to building a strong work ethic and developing future career relationships. Participating employers offer participants a minimum of 20 hours per week (4 weeks during the summer, 80 hours total). Apply by June 15, 2025.
